art stuff, tav/durge dump and a brief life update

so first off, the bg3 kinktober - even tho i couldnt finish the last drawing for week 4, it was still pretty fun exploring different kinks and stuff, some softer, others slightly more ""extreme"", notably the unfinished piece for week 4. i dont wanna spoil it too much just in case id ever want to come back to it, but its knife play/lingerie themed with shart and my durge saige! unfortunatelly i got a little over ambitious with it (as always lmao), couldnt finish it in time and kinda lost motivation to work on it after kinktober ended, so im just leaving it be for now.

oh, right, and speaking of bg3 durges (and tavs), i recently started rewriting celeste, the blonde selunite cleric/paladin, (kinda) from scratch! some parts of her are still the same, like her being a (light domain) selunite cleric, but i tweaked some things to add a bit more depth to her and make her seem less overpowered/"marry sue - esque". similarily with my durge saige (i might rename them cus the name doesnt suite them that much sdhfsj), i played with them a while ago, but it was all very spontanious and i didnt really know what to do with them, so i also completely remade them. i have some rough sketches/doodles of them both that ill share in the gallery later. hell i even thought of making like a tav/durge library site where i could store some info abt them and such, but that will have to wait. for now, i started writing about celeste publicly in some tavqotds on bsky if youd like to check that out.

other than that, im almost halfway finished with the uni stuff! i only have 2 more pages of the comic to finish (+ a 3 panel strip and an illustration/"poster" for it) and then start gathering my other works together. its pretty scary and the seasonal depression + insomnia adding up to this is not helping at all, but well see what happens. at least i tried i guess.

bg3 kinktober, zines and other stuff

so for this month, ill be drawing for the bg3 kinktober ! i wont be doing all of the prompts/days, not only because some of the listed kinks arent my thing personally, but also because im already busy with uni preparations and zines this fall (ill get to that later). so to keep everything as simple as possible, i decided that ill draw one doodle per week using either one prompt or combining 2 prompts from the list. so far ive only made week 1 (which will be up in the gallery) and am currently working on week 2!

speaking of zines, we are now allowed to post previews of our works publicly (at least for the 2 out of the ones im in currently)! first sneak peek is for the bg3 Hallo-zine for the 'treat' section, which comes out oct 31st, and the second is for the Colours of the Gate zine for the nsfw section (btw the preorders have been extended to oct 17th so you still have 2 more days if youd like to check it out!)

and now the elephant in the room - the shadowzel comic. ill be completely honest, i have not made any new progress on part 2 since like the end of september. i do have most of the pages sketched out and would love to keep working on it (even if the writing is ehh), but like i said in the last entry, i simply cant focus on working on 2 comics at the same time, especially knowing that one of them is for a important occassion (?) such as uni. i know this is just a me problem, but i cant help but feel guilty when i draw things for myself (that being the shadowzel comic for example) when theres important deadlines for things i should probably focus on more. so yeah, im gonna be putting it aside for now until im done with the uni stuff (which should be in january) and then ill come (heh) back to it

regarding commissions and the shadowzel comic..

long story short, im prepairing stuff for my uni portfolio this fall and theres a lot i have to do. one of the tasks i have to do is literally to make a short comic and honestly, doing that while working on the shadowzel comic on he side would probably be too much for me. i might be able to finish part 2 by the end of september/begining of october, but im not sure.

this goes for comms too, theres some other stuff i have to draw and as much as id like to open them again, id much rather keep that energy for the uni stuff since its more important to me atm. i did however think about maybe opening a few slots for simple sketch comms? ive seen some ppl do these and so i thought i could try it too. they wouldnt be any huge magnum opus -ish pieces, probably a little cheaper, but id still be able to at least draw something. idk, lmk in the guestbook or in the comments wherever i decide to repost this

oh yea also speaking of guestbooks, i realized i could be using my old strawpage as a guestbook instead of the one im using rn so ill probably be making a switch to that sometime soon!

(also also my bday is this saturday cough cough,,)
